Miss Charlotte Ryan Little was born March 18, 2008 at 10:10am. By the time we had made the first round of phone calls and texts around 9am to let everyone know we were at the hospital, we made our second round of phone calls and texts to let everyone know Charlotte was here!
• 17 lbs 2oz • 28" • • First tooth : March 5, 2009 lower right front tooth • Walk with the walk-behind instead of the walker • Will walk/run while you help by holding her hands- this usually is followed by a fit of giggles • Penguin is still her BFF • understanding the concept of a spoon • mimicks very well • possibly says "hi" but it's so pitchy, it's hard to tell • mum mum mum, deh deh deh and is attaching each to the respective parent • waves good bye if you wave to her • supposedly took some steps by herself, but her mother will believe it when she sees it • captivated by the movie "Bolt" • will stand a few seconds by herself • still loves Super Why with all her heart • getting very speedy on her hands and knees • understands stacking and nesting • understands crayons/pens and how they work. • loves cheese- mac n cheese, cheese puffs, cottage cheese
Eleven Months
• 16 lbs 8 oz • 8-9oz of Enfamil AR lipil 4-5 hours • is able to eat some solid food • isn't big on baby food any more. • Does a "Downward Dog" position in efforts to stand up (hands on the floor, but in a standing position) • Screams for the fun • Will dance with music on and sometimes sing along • Enjoys Blues Clues, Super Why and Mickey Mouse Club • Enjoys baths- crawls all around in the tub and splashes • is getting adventurous with food and will try just about anything
Ten Months
• 15lbs 8oz • 7-9 oz every 5 hours or so • Bedtime 7:30-8:30 • Napping twice a day (11:30ish and 3:30ish) • Eats some solids: Cheerios, puffs, noodles • Loves to gum on fruits for the juice • Crawling everywhere • Can go from crawl to sit to crawl • Matilda= "Duh. Duh." • Pulling up to knees and sometimes feet • First breathing treatment for Broncholitis • Runs in her walker
Nine Months
• 14lbs 12oz • • Learned to clap • Can crawl backwards • Can stand up while holding on to something by myself • Recognizes dogs and refers to them as "Gees" (i.e. Dog-gees) • Super ticklish • First stomach bug
Eight Months
• 14lbs 10oz • 6-9 clothes • sits up by herself steadily • 7:30-9 bedtime (go to bed at 7, wake up at 9, back to bed at 10:30) • currently likes oatmeal with fruit, Gerber "puffs", 2nd stage foods • 7-9 oz of Enfamil AR Lipil • pro with the sippy cup • can be tided over with pear juice or water • can stand with help • sings with the radio • has figured out that mom won't put the camera down until she smiles • wears a "bean sprout" in her hair • loves to play with other kids and enjoys little people like herself • eyesight is getting stronger • recognizes familiar faces and greets them with a smile
Seven Months
• 6-9 clothes • sits up by herself • 7:30-9 bedtime • currently likes fruit medley and oatmeal, apples and bananas • 7-9 oz of Enfamil AR Lipil • is mobile in the walker • enjoys her highchair • repeats "ba ba ba" over and over... sometimes says "ma ma" and "da da" but has no connection to us with those words • you can see the engineer in her- she plays with toys but looks at it as if she's trying to figure out what it's exact purpose is, but still enjoys to play with it • can hold a sippy cup and her bottle by herself • is beginning to get the idea of crawling- tries to pull to her knees but can't quite make it • still takes in her surroundings when outside the house • has tons of friends at daycare! • char-yette (with the hard "ch"), car-yette, carlette, yar-yette • enjoys nature walks
Six Months
• 13lbs 6oz • 25.25 inches • 6-9 months clothes • still enjoys pears, peaches and applesauce- not a fan of green beans • 7-9 oz of Enfamil AR Lipil after baby food •naps on her back and sleeps thru the nite on her back •everything goes in her mouth • bedtime has moved up to 7:30 or 8 • toes are her best friend • everything is funny • taking a great interest in the dogs and is grabbing at them when they are near • very chatty- makes herself laugh and enjoys conversations with herself and with anyone that will listen
Five Months
• 12lbs. 11oz • 24.5 inches • 3-6 months clothes • 1/2 container of pears, peaches or applesauce- opens her mouth for the spoon • 6-7 oz of Enfamil AR Lipil after baby food • eats every 4-5 hours • tried sweet potatoes, carrots and green beans. veggies aren't her favorite. • rolls over completely to her stomach on flat surfaces, but gets stuck on her face • sleeps on her side and eventually her stomach • grabbing and holding hard objects • sucking and gumming on fingers and knuckles • found her thumb • brings objects to her mouth • first cold (stuffy nose & small cough) • still prefers to sit up and watch- can almost do it by herself • found her feet and is constantly grabbing for her toes • gets excited when the dogs play or run toward her
Four Months
• 11lbs 9 0z • 23 inches • 3-6 month clothes • 6-7oz of Enfamil AR Lipil every 3 hours • sleeping thru the nite • following objects and recognizes moving things (tv, sound, shapes, lights) • smiling and giggling • prefers to be held sitting up and watching over your shoulder or arm • licks/sticks out her tongue • grabbing and holding soft objects (worry rag mostly) • babbles, yells and holds conversations as best as she can • can roll from her back to her stomach
Three Months
• 10lbs 7oz • 22 inches • 0-3 months • 5oz Enfamil AR Lipil every 3 hours • 1/2 tablet reflux medication- once a day • nightly crying and spit up ceased • holds head up and still • babbling • blows bubbles/drools contantly • "rides her bike"- kicking, constantly moving legs when on her back • likes to lay flat on her back on the floor • sits upright in bumbo seat to watch • likes to be pushed in an umbrella stroller tipped back so she can recline and sleep • enjoys kicking a blanket off of her face to play "peek-a-boo" • sucking on her hands and knuckles
Two Months
• 8lbs 12oz • 20 inches • newborn clothes • 3oz of Similac every 3 hours • Reflux medication- liquid drops- twice a day • nightly crying under control • spit up decrease • aware of her surroundings (watches people, movement but doesn't follow) • starting to grab clothing • stays awake more during the day- long naps- 1:00 and 5:30 • begin reading books • understanding of putting the burp cloth under her chin meant it was time to eat- would shake head side to side until the bottle was given to her
One Month
• 5lbs 15oz (birth) to 7lbs 4oz • 19 inches • premie clothes • 2oz of Similac every 3 hours • eats, sleeps, poops! • cries for 4-5 hours at nite • lots of spit up • enjoys sleeping in the swing and the boppy

Chicken nuggets are the best! I can't believe that shes old enough to eat them!
